Health Center Manager

Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina is currently hiring a Health Center Manager in the Fayetteville office. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in a management and supervisory position, preferably in the healthcare field especially women’s health. Demonstrated experience successfully managing a business unit and demonstrated leadership and project management skills and abilities are a must.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and function well as a team member. The successful candidate is detail-oriented and able to work in and manage a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage health center to meet or exceed all health center productivity, revenue, net income, client visit, client fundraising, client advocacy, and quality goals.
  • Ensure site compliance with all regulatory policies, practices, procedures and standards in health care operations.
  • Hire and train staff on business practices, operational procedures and medical protocols.
  • Monitor patient flow and direct staff as necessary for efficient operations.
  • Establish and implement patient and health center staff schedules.
  • Ensure staff compliance with PPCNC medical, administrative and security protocols.
  • Implement marketing activities at the health center level.
  • Respond to and evaluate customer concerns, complaints and suggestions on a regular basis.

Communications Assistant/Writer (Part-Time)

A part-time position, the Communications Assistant/Writer will produce website content, draft collateral materials, and support the Director, Marketing & Strategic Initiatives in implementing the marketing plan. Primary responsibilities include helping develop UCF’s digital presence, writing copy and coordinating collateral production, and providing administrative support. The successful candidate will be a college graduate with at least three years’ professional experience writing for marketing and the web; resourceful and self-motivated with a good head and eye for details; a collegial person possessing deep comfort with technology, the internet, and MS Office (experience with WordPress and/or HTML a plus); and the willingness to pitch in when, where and how needed. Development Associate

The Gateway School of New York is located at 211 West 61st Street. The school was founded in 1965. Gateway serves approximately 135 students with learning disabilities. Students range from age five up through 8th grade. Gateway has an operating budget of approximately $9,000,000. Fundraising is a critical component of the schools’ success.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on
    • Database maintenance and gift entry
    • Writing and sending “thank you” tax exempt letters
    • Filing receipts and copies of donations
    • Running queries and reports using fundraising software.
  • Has a significant role coordinating and managing the annual fund (Parent Annual Operating Fund) of approximately $1,000,000. This includes the timing of solicitations, writing letters and working with volunteers.
  • Assists with school events, benefit, capital campaign, communications, marketing and day to day operations.
Education and Experience
  • College degree and development/fundraising experience required
  • Experience with fundraising/database software e.g. Senior-Systems strongly preferred
  • Experience in independent school preferred
Skills and Knowledge
  • Comfortable with fundraising: donor cultivation, stewardship and personal solicitations
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and great attention to detail
  • Able to work with volunteers, team oriented, and willing to pitch in when and where needed
  • Proficient with computers and fundraising software
This is a 12 month position, reporting to the Director of Advancement. Competitive compensation package includes generous paid time off.
