Shred-it Charlotte (www.shredit.com/charlotte), which specializes in providing secure on-site document destruction, the CMPD Financial Crimes Unit, and SouthPark Mall are joining forces to hold a free document shredding event for the public. The event, geared toward helping protect consumers from identity theft. Shred-it employees will be on hand at each location to accept personal documents that people want destroyed in Shred-it’s secure on-site mobile shredders (please limit material to 4 banker boxes per vehicle).
